PROJECT OVERVIEW

The vision is to create a place that captures people’s imaginations, inspired by the heritage and industrial character of South Yarra’s urban and cultural fabric. The Jam Factory proposals aim to transform this part of South Yarra into a world-class mixed-use precinct that combines office, leisure, culture, and retail within a vibrant and inclusive public realm. Design, location, and placemaking come together to form an innovative and socially rich urban landscape that connects seamlessly with the surrounding streets and community. The public realm is designed to encourage participation, social interaction, and active lifestyles through a permeable network of laneways and a lively Town Square at its heart, animated by retail, entertainment, and dining experiences. Together, these spaces will create a dynamic environment that promotes wellbeing, creativity, and connection—making the Jam Factory a place where people will want to live, work, visit, and spend time.
